The Petaled Garden is a subsidiary of Sherzi & Company, LLC, located in Andover, Massachusetts.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We respect your privacy and will never sell your data.  However, we do collect data such as your name, email address, home address, phone number transactional data and technical data. This may include personal data, such as name, email address and transactional data, such as purchase information; and technical data, such as information about cookies.  Your information allows us to offer you products and services including but not limited to the use of our website, help us fulfill our obligations to you, customization of your interaction with our company and our website.

We generally store your data and transmit it to a third party for processing to serve our legitimate business interests (such as providing you with the opportunity to purchase our goods or services).  We do not retain your credit card information once your transaction/purchase is complete.

Ways in which we may use your information:

  • respond to your questions and comments and provide you with customer support
  • notify you about special events, products and services
  • conduct surveys to measure your level of interest in or satisfaction with our products and services
  • deliver the products and services that you have requested or ordered

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.  An anonymized string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.  The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here:  After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely.  This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.  Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Contact Forms

We keep contact form submissions for a certain period for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.


While you visit our site, we track the following information:

Products you’ve viewed: we use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed.

Location, IP address and browser type:  we use this for purposes such as estimating taxes and shipping

Delivery Address:  we ask you to enter this so we can deliver your order to you.

Storing your Information

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it.  For example, we store order information for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.  This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping address.  We retain pending orders for 1 day and do not retain information on failed or cancelled orders.

What right you have over your data

If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.  You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.  This does not include any data we are obligated to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.


We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way (look for the closed lock icon). 

Offline, only members of our team who need the information for business administration purposes or fulfilling orders, processing refunds, and supporting you have access to the information you provide us.   While we take physical, technical and administrative precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access or use, no transmission of data over the Internet or any other public network, or any online service, can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

What we Share with Others

We utilize third-party companies and individuals (such as payment processors, email providers and analytics and security providers) to help us provide services. These third parties have only limited access to your information, may use your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated to us not to disclose or use your information for other purposes.

Embeded Content From Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
